Thank you to everyone who came to the presentation night last Saturday. It was a really nice night to reflect on the great season we have had and to celebrate all of our achievements. A big thank you to Maureen for organizing the evening.

We had perfect weather for our IRB and board training on Saturday. It was sunny with no wind and rolling decent size waves.We had Elli Linney training for her drivers, Chloe Whitnish training for her crew and Amity Pope practicing her board paddeling. Thanks to Lars for coming down and helping.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION EVENING
CLUBHOUSE BUILDING PROJECT

The Inverloch Surf Lifesaving Club is holding a Community Information evening on the progress of our clubrooms project, and we extend an invitation to interested community members. We intend to announce a major sponsorship arrangement and hope to see as many of the regions key businesses, community representatives and interested persons at the session. Details are as follows:

Bronze Camp 08/09

Hilary Hughes will be running this years Bronze camp. If you would like to help out as an instructor or water safety helper please contact Hilary at hilary_tig@hotmail.com

Please note that to be an instructor or water safety helper at this years bronze camp, members must have patrolled 16 rostered hours in season 07/08 (see criteria document for full details)

NIPPERS 08/09

The 2008/09 Nippers Program will commence on Monday 29/12/08. If your child is not a current member of ISLSC and is interested in attending Nippers, please forward their details to Angela Malan to have them placed on our current waiting list. All Nippers participants must be 6 years of age by 1/10/08.

08/09 membership forms
Membership for season 08/09 will be available after the AGM on July 26th. Existing members will have personal forms sent to them via email/post, while new members will be required to fill out a general SLSA membership form and an Inverloch SLSC form.

Bronze camp 08/09
We have not set the bronze camp dates yet but it will be around the 2nd or 3rd week of December 2008. If you are interested in gaining your bronze medallion or surf rescue certificate please forward your email address to inverlochslsc@gmail.com and we will keep you up to date with any new information about the camp.
