Working With Children Check Update

The LSV policy says that

This Season: All LSV members over the age of 18 working with children (defined as under 18 years of age) in a volunteer capacity (age managers, patrol captains, officials, coaches, chief instructors, training officers and assessors) must obtain a WWCC

For Full info download the 2 attached documents -

Circular_105.09.08_Working_With_Children_Checks_-_2008_Update.pdf

Lifesaving - Working with Children Inverloch Procedures 08_09

To apply for a WWCC you must go to your post office - for full info print out the attachment and read carefully , they are very strict with the application process

This is very serious, the bottom line is that if you have not got a WWCC, you will not be participating in any of the above activities this season

Your WWC Check is valid for five years unless it is revoked by the Department of Justice or you surrender your Assessment Notice and WWC Check card.

If you have already obtained a WWCC but have changed your personal details, there is a change of personal details form in the circular attached.

If you have any questions please ask, but most things are explained somewhere in the attached documents so please read these before emailing us
