Lets hire a place and get a team together. We should get some oldies like Chris Malan, David G, Angela Malan, Cliff, Rob O, Trevor, Kirsty, Philippe and co to go in the masters, and then the young bucks like Nick, Foz, Phillips, Cresswell, Jess, HIlary, Elli, LArs, JAke, Harv, Jed etc to go in the senior carnival on the sunday and make a club weekend out of it

Surf Carnivals
If you are interested in going to some surf carnivals this summer have a look at this calendar.

Learn to Ski squad
This squad is open to all members and will be lead by Nick Leman. This is an opportunity for total beginners to learn the basics of how to surf ski. We currently have 3 surf ski's at the surf club but they rarely get used because nobody knows how to paddle them. The squad will involved 1 session in Melbourne and 1 session at Inverloch with a qualified kayak instructor, plus subsequent sessions in Inverloch to practice what we have learned in our lessons.

There are 6 spots available in the squad, with the Melbourne sessions limited to 3 participants to ensure quality instruction.

We will begin on flat water with our L plates on and then when we feel comfortable we will venture into the surf.

We are also going to run similar squads like a beginner, intermediate and advance board and swim squads so stay tuned for these.

Inverloch Triathlon - Nov 29
The annual Inverloch Triathlon will be on the 29th of November at 9.30am. The race is a 500m swim, 20km cycle and a 5km run.

The lifesaving club does water safety for this event so if you can help out please email Nick.

Otherwise it would be great to get some members competing in the race
