Dog Ridge the name comes from an old vigorous grape vine root stock. It is a family owned Winery at the base of the Southern Mount Lofty ranges in Mclaren Vale. Winemaker will be there to talk about the wines.

Bass Coast Barracudas Triathlon Club End of Season Thankyou Party

Bass Coast Barracudas would like to thank all of our Volunteers and Sponsors for there great help and support over the 2007/8 Triathlon season.

We would like to invite you all to celebrate the success of the Bass Coast Triathlon Clubs 2007/8 race season. Casual Education Staff Opportunities

Life Saving Victoria are recruiting new staff to conduct Education programs over the
upcoming 2008/2009 summer.

Staff have the opportunity to travel around the state teaching water safety to schools and
community groups at a range of venues; from local beaches and classrooms, to rivers,
lakes and dams.

This year, we are offering the opportunity for potential staff to gain their Training Officer

Certificate (TAADEL301A – Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work
skills), which is a qualification recognized to deliver training in the industry, and also credits
towards Cert IV Training & Assessment.

Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club
Annual Gala Ball

The club would like to invite you to attend our auspicious Gala Ball to be held Saturday 11 October 2008. A delicious meal will be served whilst you enjoy the top class live entertainment and introductory drinks. The evening will also include lucky door prizes and an auction for some fantastic major items. Details of the ball are as follows:

COMMUNITY INFORMATION EVENING
CLUBHOUSE BUILDING PROJECT

The Inverloch Surf Lifesaving Club is holding a Community Information evening on the progress of our clubrooms project, and we extend an invitation to interested community members. We intend to announce a major sponsorship arrangement and hope to see as many of the regions key businesses, community representatives and interested persons at the session. Details are as follows:

AGM and PRESENTATION NIGHT
Saturday 26th July 2008 at the Inverloch Bowling Club

The AGM will start 6pm followed by the Presentation Night at 7.30pm

This year the committee decided the club needed to change the venue and forum for the usual Annual AGM and Christmas in July. Instead we will hold the AGM at the Inverloch Bowling Club and then continue with the presentation night afterwards. The club would like as many members to join with the patrolees to come and have a social evening and support the presentation of trophies to each recipient . Patrolling members have worked extremely hard and deserve a night to relax and be recognised for their outstanding efforts.

The cost of the night will be:
$15.00 Adults $ 8.00 Children under 12

There will be champagne on arrival, finger food, nibbles on tables and music. Alcohol may be purchased over the bar, NO BYO permitted.

IRB and surf training session
For all the actives who are coming down for the AGM and presentation night what I am proposing is that we make a day of it and do some IRB crew and driver training as well as a surf/ comp board / general water session. It would be from 11 o'clock @ the surf beach on Saturday the 26th of July before the AGM/presentation night. So bring along your wetsuits and booties and get involved! 08/09 membership forms
Membership for season 08/09 will be available after the AGM on July 26th. Existing members will have personal forms sent to them via email/post, while new members will be required to fill out a general SLSA membership form and an Inverloch SLSC form.

- We have not set the bronze camp dates yet but they will be around the 2nd or 3rd week of December. This is a special invitation to all 13 to 18 year olds to join our Youth Involvement Program (YIP). By being one of the first members to join YIPs you will learn new skills and earn points, which in turn you will receive great rewards for your efforts, and it will only cost $25 each season.

Competition Camp 2007
Competition camp is coming up once again, its being held from the 2nd to the 7th of December, Pencil this date in!! If you are interested please shoot a quick note to my email at uni. If you haven't been it is one of the best weeks in the Inverloch calander, with only a small amount of structured sessions. Last year it was held at Wonthaggi LSC, and this year we are looking at Wilson's Prom and Venus bay. Lizzy and I will finalise these details very soon and let you know.It is a great week and i would urge you to come.
