It was a really nice night to reflect on the great season we have had and to celebrate all of our achievements. A big thank you to Maureen for organizing the evening. SLSC: We had perfect weather for our IRB and board training on Saturday. It was sunny with no wind and rolling decent size waves.We had Elli Linney training for her drivers, Chloe Whitnish training for her crew and Amity Pope practicing her board paddeling. Nippers Contact Angela Malan 0413 904 485 angelamalan@optusnet.com.au AGM and PRESENTATION NIGHT Saturday 26th July 2008 at the Inverloch Bowling Club (10/7/08) The AGM will start 6pm followed by the Presentation Night at 7.30pm This year the committee decided the club needed to change the venue and forum for the usual Annual AGM and Christmas in July. Instead we will hold the AGM at the Inverloch Bowling Club and then continue with the presentation night afterwards. The club would like as many members to join with the patrolees to come and have a social evening and support the presentation of trophies to each recipient . Patrolling members have worked extremely hard and deserve a night to relax and be recognised for their outstanding efforts. The cost of the night will be: There will be champagne on arrival, finger food, nibbles on tables

Also to be announced: IRB and surf training session For all the actives who are coming down for the AGM and presentation night what I am proposing is that we make a day of it and do some IRB crew and driver training as well as a surf/ comp board / general water session. It would be from 11 o'clock @ the surf beach on Saturday the 26th of July before the AGM/presentation night. So bring along your wetsuits and booties and get involved! YIPS Competition Camp 2007 Competition camp is coming up once again, its being held from the 2nd to the 7th of December, Pencil this date in!! If you are interested please shoot a quick note to my email at uni. If you haven't been it is one of the best weeks in the Inverloch calander, with only a small amount of structured sessions. Last year it was held at Wonthaggi LSC, and this year we are looking at Wilson's Prom and Venus bay.
