Sunday 28 December 2008: Surf and Sand Fun Run

The Fun Runs and Walk will be held on the Surf Beach, Starting and Finishing in front of the Patrol Observation Tower.

The course is broken up into 4 x 1.25 km sections, with three fixed and two Mobile First Aid / Water Stations situated along the course.

The 10 km Fun Run is restricted to 14years and above for safe and health reasons. The 5km Run and Walk are Opening to all age Groups.

Spectators will be able to see runner and walkers along the entire stretch of beach.

The Winners of all fun Run Events will be awarded Trophies; there are no trophies for Walkers. All Entrants will receive a Participation Certificate.

Monday 26 January 2009: Anderson's Inlet Swim Classic

The Channel Challenge will be held in Anderson’s Inlet on the East side of the Boat ramp. The Course will be two 800mtr legs running between the “Anglers Club” and Pymble Ave.

The outward leg of the Course will be approximately 10mtrs off shore and the return leg about 2 mtrs off shore.

First Aid / Water Stations will be situated at the Start/Finish Line, at the turn around on a fixed boat and on shore base. One station will be situated mid way of the course on the beach along with two mobile ( IRB’s ) on the water.

Spectators will be able to view the event from close proximity, the entire length of the course.

All swims are restricted to 14 years and above for health and safety reasons.

All winners will be awarded trophies and all entrants will receive a Participation Certificate.
